The NY Queer Zine Fair brings together queer artists, zine makers, collectives and publishers to share and discuss their art and process. Every exhibitor also has their work for sale, ranging from hand made zines to small-run publications.  NYQZF strives to be a place where diverse genders, backgrounds, experiences and identities are represented.

The first NYQZF, founded by Paul Anthony Moreno and Charlie Welch, was held in September 2015 at Bureau of General Services - Queer Division. This debut event was only four hours after work and showcased 14 artists. By 2018 this expanded to a two-day event with over 60 vendors.

NYQZF will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019. This year’s fair will be a one-day-only event. NYQZF will be generously hosted by the Brooklyn Public Library at their Central Library at 10 Grand Army Plaza.

This year's fair is organized by Paul Moreno, one of the founders of NYQZF, and Kel Karpinski, zine artist and librarian/researcher.

NYQZF is funded through nominal participation fees paid by exhibitors.  All money raised will be used to cover the expenses of NYQZF.  Free admission and wheelchair accessible.
